Bruno MLBB Gold Lane Guide: Best Build, Emblem, Skills, Combos, and Counters

Bruno is a burst-focused Gold Lane Marksman who turns repeated Powerball pickups into fast critical-hit pressure. Pick him when your frontline can hold a stable firing lane and the enemy backline must walk into his range. Avoid him when the draft offers no peel or when multiple divers can force Flying Tackle before the fight begins.

Quick answer: Use Assassin Emblem with Rupture, Master Assassin, and Quantum Charge plus Flicker. Haas' Claws, Berserker's Fury, and Malefic Gun form the shared damage core in the observed top-five sample. Start and prioritize Volley Shot, take Worldie whenever available, retrieve every safe Powerball, and save Flying Tackle for either a confirmed stun or an escape. Do not trade away your only dash for low-value poke.

Bruno Skills: What Each One Does

Mecha Legs official-data skill icon

1. Mecha Legs — Buff / Passive

Bruno gains 2.5% extra Critical Chance whenever his skills deal damage, stacking up to eight times. His Physical Attack is higher, but he receives only 80% of bonus Attack Speed from all sources.

When: Build stacks before the decisive Basic Attack window.

Do not: Do not assume raw Attack Speed scales at the normal rate.

2. Volley Shot — Damage / Slow

Bruno empowers his next Basic Attack with a Powerball for 100 plus 100% Total Physical Attack as Physical Damage, a 30% slow, and a short 30% Movement Speed boost. The ball rebounds toward him; Bruno or an ally can retrieve it to refresh the enhanced attack and reduce Flying Tackle's cooldown by one second.

When: Attack, move toward the rebound, and catch the Powerball when the lane is safe.

Do not: Do not chase a ball into enemy crowd control.

Flying Tackle official-data skill icon

3. Flying Tackle — Mobility / CC

Bruno slides in the chosen direction, deals 140 plus 40% Total Physical Attack as Physical Damage, and stuns enemies in his path for 0.5 seconds. If the Powerball is returning, the tackle also pulls it toward him.

When: Use the slide to collect a returning ball, stun a target, or cross a wall to safety.

Do not: Do not spend it just to close distance when an Assassin is missing.

Worldie official-data skill icon

4. Worldie — Burst / CC

Bruno kicks an Energy Ball at an enemy hero for 250 plus 83% Total Physical Attack as Physical Damage and knocks the target back. It then bounces up to ten times for 150 plus 50% Total Physical Attack per hit, reducing Physical Defense by 4% for eight seconds, up to three stacks.

When: Cast early in a clustered fight so the bounces shred Physical Defense before later attacks.

Do not: Do not waste it on an isolated tank when no bounce target is nearby.

Skill Upgrade Priority

Upgrade Skill 1 at Level 1 and prioritize upgrading Skill 1 with Skill 2 as backup. Upgrade the Ultimate whenever it is available.

Volley Shot controls Bruno's normal damage loop because every safe pickup creates another enhanced attack and shortens Flying Tackle's cooldown. Flying Tackle remains the backup upgrade and the essential survival tool.

Bruno Combos

Teamfight combo

Volley Shot official-data combo iconBasic Attack official-data combo iconWorldie official-data combo iconBasic Attack official-data combo iconFlying Tackle official-data combo iconBasic Attack official-data combo icon

Volley Shot → Basic Attack → Worldie → Basic Attack → Flying Tackle → Basic Attack

In teamfights, start with Bruno's 1st Skill to get a Powerball and try to get in as much damage as possible. Look for enemies that are close together to use his Ultimate on, then use his Basic Attacks and 2nd Skill to secure the kill or retreat from danger.

Reset rule: If Volley Shot misses or the pickup lane becomes unsafe, keep Flying Tackle and wait for the next wave or frontline control.

Laning combo

Volley Shot official-data combo iconBasic Attack official-data combo iconFlying Tackle official-data combo iconBasic Attack official-data combo icon

Volley Shot → Basic Attack → Flying Tackle → Basic Attack

In the laning phase, use Bruno's 1st Skill to get a Powerball, and start attacking the enemy while picking up the ball. When the target is low, stun them with his 2nd Skill and finish them off with Basic Attacks.

Reset rule: If Volley Shot misses or the pickup lane becomes unsafe, keep Flying Tackle and wait for the next wave or frontline control.

How to Play Bruno by Game Phase

Early game

Use Volley Shot to pressure the wave and opponent together. Step toward the rebound only when the support and jungle positions are known. Your lane advantage comes from repeated empowered attacks, not from forcing a long chase.

Mid game

Arrive at Turtle and turret fights with Mecha Legs stacks ready. Fight behind the first line, use Worldie when enemies group, and keep Flying Tackle available until the main dive threat commits.

Late game

One critical hit can decide the fight, but one reckless ball pickup can also end it. Hit the nearest safe target, use Malefic Gun range, and reposition with Flicker only after identifying the enemy's last gap closer.

Five Bruno Mistakes to Avoid

1. Chasing every Powerball

A lost pickup is better than walking into a stun or flank.

2. Using Flying Tackle for harmless poke

The dash is Bruno's only regular escape; spend it when the stun converts or danger is already controlled.

3. Ignoring the 80% Attack Speed ratio

Bruno gets less bonus Attack Speed than normal, so prioritize efficient critical-hit and range value.

4. Casting Worldie on one isolated tank

The ultimate becomes stronger when it can bounce and reduce several targets' Physical Defense.

5. Copying boots blindly

Tough Boots dominate the sample, but Warrior Boots appear when physical lane pressure matters more.

Best Bruno Emblem and Battle Spell

Default: Assassin Emblem + Flicker

Talents: Rupture, Master Assassin, Quantum Charge. Rupture sharpens early trades, Master Assassin rewards isolated Gold Lane exchanges, and Quantum Charge adds sustain and movement after Basic Attacks. Flicker preserves one emergency reposition when Flying Tackle is unavailable.

Do not use it: to force into fog without allied vision; two movement tools cannot rescue a blind engage against layered control.

Alternative: Inspire for a protected firing lane

Inspire can create a stronger short Basic Attack window when the team already supplies peel. ONE Esports also lists Common Emblem as a sustain-oriented alternative. Choose these only when the draft lets Bruno stand and fire; Flicker remains safer into dive.

Talent and spell names use MLBBHub and ONE Esports guidance, accessed August 8, 2026, because the observed in-game Emblem labels were locked or partial.

Bruno Counters and Teammates

Good partners

Franco hero iconKhufra hero iconLolita hero icon

Franco and Khufra force targets to stay inside Bruno's early damage lane, while Lolita protects his firing position. Wait for their control before committing Flying Tackle forward.

Difficult answers

Gatotkaca hero iconFredrinn hero iconLayla hero icon

High Physical Defense reduces Bruno's front-target pressure, while Layla can become a difficult long-range answer. Build penetration, hit the nearest safe target, and do not cross the frontline for one crit.

Bruno can out-trade slower early Marksmen and punish an exposed target with Volley Shot resets. The advantage disappears if he wastes Flying Tackle or takes a poor pickup angle.

Bruno Story

Bruno is the captain of the Eruditio Rangers, yet he still spends spare time playing football with the city's children. His story links the loss of his legs, Eruditio's technology, and his belief that progress should help people escape the limits imposed by fate.

Bruno FAQ

What is the best Bruno battle spell?

Flicker is the safer default because it gives Bruno a second reposition after Flying Tackle. Inspire is a damage alternative only when the draft already protects his firing lane.

Which skill should Bruno upgrade first?

Take and prioritize Volley Shot, keep Flying Tackle as the backup upgrade, and level Worldie whenever available.

What is Bruno's core combo rule?

Empower the next Basic Attack with Volley Shot, collect safe rebounds, use Worldie when enemies group, and keep Flying Tackle for a confirmed stun or escape.

Is one leaderboard build always best?

No. The five observed rows share a strong core, but boots and defensive choices must answer the enemy's control and damage profile.

Verdict

Bruno wins by turning safe Powerball pickups into repeated critical-hit windows while keeping one escape available. Build the shared crit-and-range core, but change boots and defense for the actual threat. Compare the Bane guide, the Karina guide, and the Franco guide.
