Bane is a Fighter/Mage flex pick for jungle or EXP lane. His physical route converts every skill cast into a Max-HP Shark Bite hit, while Sea Ink supplies sustain and approach speed. Pick him when the draft needs objective pressure, turret damage, and mixed scaling; avoid blind long-range ultimates against mobile backlines.

Current in-game Bane profile: Fighter/Mage, Push/Burst.

Each skill cast grants up to two Power of Tide stacks. The next Basic Attack consumes one stack to deal Physical Damage equal to 95% Total Physical Attack plus 4 (+0.4 × Hero Level)% of the target's Max HP to nearby enemies.
When: After every skill cast, weave one enhanced Basic Attack before stacking more casts.
Do not: Do not burn two skills without consuming a Power of Tide stack.

Shark Bite in-game demonstration.

Bane fires a cannon shot for 150 (+160% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to the first target, then 150% damage to a random enemy behind it, prioritizing heroes. The hit slows for 1 second; every 100 Physical Attack adds 8% cooldown reduction.
When: Bounce the shot through a minion or creep when the back target matters more.
Do not: Do not aim only at the front target when a bounce can reach the carry.

Crab Claw Cannon in-game demonstration.

Bane restores 200 (+150% Total Magic Power) plus a lost-HP component and gains decaying Movement Speed. Recast to spit ink for 140 (+130% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage, scaling up to 200% with charge time.
When: Heal before a trade, then charge the recast while closing distance.
Do not: Do not overcharge the recast while the target is already leaving the cone.

Sea Ink in-game demonstration.

Bane sends sharks forward for 700 (+80% Total Physical Attack) (+150% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage, a 0.6-second airborne, and a 75% decaying slow. It deals 40% damage to turrets.
When: Cast from close range or behind allied control so the slow sharks cannot be sidestepped.
Do not: Do not fire from maximum range into an enemy with a clear escape lane.

Deadly Catch in-game demonstration.
Upgrade Skill 1 at Level 1 and prioritize upgrading Skill 1 with Skill 2 as backup. Upgrade the Ultimate whenever it is available.
Crab Claw Cannon is the physical route's repeatable poke and clear tool. Sea Ink is the backup upgrade for sustain and mobility, while Deadly Catch defines objective and teamfight windows.

Sea Ink → Deadly Catch → Basic Attack → Sea Ink → Basic Attack → Crab Claw Cannon → Basic Attack
In teamfights, use Bane's 2nd Skill to close in and catch multiple enemies with his Ultimate. Use an enhanced Basic Attack when the enemies are knocked airborne, then use his 2nd Skill and another enhanced Basic Attack. Finally, use his 1st Skill and enhanced Basic Attack to chase and finish off the enemy.

Sea Ink → Basic Attack → Crab Claw Cannon → Basic Attack → Sea Ink → Basic Attack
In the laning phase, use Bane's 2nd Skill to get close to the enemy and hit them with an enhanced Basic Attack. Then use his 1st Skill to slow the enemy followed by another enhanced Basic Attack. And end with his 2nd Skill again with another enhanced Basic Attack.
Use cannon bounces for safe poke, consume every Shark Bite stack, and keep Retribution for objective timing rather than a low-value camp.
Arrive before Turtle or Lord, charge Sea Ink while moving, and cast Deadly Catch after allied control or from close range.
Choose between turret pressure and grouping before the fight starts. One safe enhanced Basic Attack is worth more than walking into crowd control for a second stack.
Consume a stack between casts instead of losing passive damage to rushed inputs.
The sharks are slow; close distance or layer crowd control first.
A front minion can deliver the stronger second hit to a backline hero.
The execute item rewards a clean snowball, not repeated deaths.
Retribution and Ice Hunter's boots belong to the jungle route; Flicker supports EXP access.
Talents: Rupture, Seasoned Hunter, Brave Smite. Use Ice Retribution for chase control around Crab Claw Cannon and Deadly Catch. Do not spend Retribution before a contested Turtle or Lord.
Talents: Rupture, Master Assassin, Killing Spree. Flicker shortens the ultimate's reaction window and creates a safer lane escape. Do not use the isolated-damage route when fights are always crowded.
Talent and spell names were cross-checked against MLBBHub, ONE Esports, and the MLBB Wiki, accessed August 7, 2026, because the observed Emblem labels were locked or partial.
The sample is descriptive, not a universal six-slot prescription. All five rows were observed on August 7, 2026, and none was applied.

| Item | Why | When | Do not buy blindly | Observed ranks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Sky Piercer | An execute threshold that grows with successful kills | Bane is snowballing and can finish low targets | Deaths are erasing stacks | 1, 2, 3 |
Ice Hunter's Tough Boots | Magic defense, control reduction, and jungle chase control | Bane is the assigned jungler | A lane spell is required | 1, 2, 3, 5 |
War Axe | HP, cooldown reduction, lifesteal, and stacked damage | Fights last through repeated skill-passive cycles | The enemy can disengage immediately | 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 |
Endless Battle | A spellblade hit after each cast | Bane can weave Shark Bite attacks | He cannot safely enter Basic Attack range | 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 |
Blade of Despair | High finishing Physical Attack | Bane is ahead or targets are often low | Defense is needed to survive the first cycle | 1, 2, 4, 5 |
Malefic Roar | Percentage armor penetration | Frontliners are stacking Physical Defense | The enemy is mostly fragile | 1, 3, 4 |
Malefic Gun | Attack range and penetration utility | Safer passive hits matter | A stronger burst or survival slot is urgent | 2 |
Rose Gold Meteor | Mixed offense plus a low-HP shield | Magic burst threatens the second rotation | Physical burst is the main problem | 3, 5 |
Rapid Boots | Fast rotations, slow reduction, and HP regen | Playing lane without Retribution | Control demands Tough Boots | 4 |
Hunter Strike | Physical penetration and a movement burst | Short hit-and-run trades decide fights | Sustained durability matters more | 4 |
Immortality | A late-fight resurrection | One more skill-passive cycle can decide Lord | The passive is unavailable | 5 |
Tigreal and Luo Yi group enemies for Deadly Catch and Crab Claw Cannon; Kalea adds another setup window. Hold the ultimate until the grouping control begins.
Long-range magic pressure can remove Bane before he reaches passive range, while Lolita is a strong statistical answer. Approach through fog and do not telegraph Deadly Catch from maximum range.
High-HP frontliners dislike repeated Max-HP Shark Bite hits and Bane’s sustain. Weave an enhanced Basic Attack after every safe cast.

Northern Vale piracy once followed territorial rules until Bane grew beyond ordinary plunder. The ruthless Frozen King built power through fear and ambition, becoming Franco's sworn enemy and a threat to every ship and settlement around the Frozen Sea.
Retribution is required for the jungle role, with Ice Retribution matching the chase pattern seen in four observed setups.
Take and prioritize Crab Claw Cannon for the physical route, with Sea Ink as backup and Deadly Catch whenever available.
Use Sea Ink to close, Deadly Catch from a reliable angle, and weave a Shark Bite Basic Attack between later casts.
No. War Axe and Endless Battle recur, but Sky Piercer, penetration, boots, and survival depend on role and game state.
Bane wins through disciplined skill-to-Basic-Attack rhythm and objective timing. Jungle Bane should protect Retribution windows; EXP Bane should use Flicker to shorten Deadly Catch's reaction window. Compare the Karina jungle guide and Franco guide.
