Honkai Star Rail Castorice Build: Relics, Teams, Stats and Materials

Castorice is an HP-scaling Quantum Remembrance carry who converts team HP loss and healing into Newbud, then summons Netherwing for her main damage window. Her strongest general build uses 4-piece Poet of Mourning Collapse, Bone Collection’s Serene Demesne, a CRIT DMG body, HP boots, HP sphere, and HP rope. She wants high HP, near-100% in-combat CRIT Rate, and a real healer—shield-only sustain does not refill the HP economy her Ultimate needs.

Start With Castorice’s HP Economy

Castorice’s Skill consumes current HP from the whole party. Every point lost becomes Newbud; once Newbud is full, her Ultimate summons Netherwing and creates Lost Netherland, reducing enemy All-Type RES. While Netherwing is active, allies’ HP loss heals the dragon instead of building Newbud, and Castorice’s Skill becomes a stronger joint AoE attack.

Castorice Relics, Main Stats and Targets

Poet is designed for slow characters. Do not add random Speed rolls that push Castorice above the set’s best threshold. Bone Collection provides HP and memosprite-friendly CRIT value. HP sphere generally beats Quantum DMG because her multipliers scale directly from Max HP.

Target 7,000–8,000+ HP, 80–100% CRIT Rate in combat, 200–220%+ CRIT DMG, and base Speed or below 95. If the build overcaps CRIT Rate, change the body or substats rather than wasting the excess.

Hyacine is the premium sustain because automatic team healing creates large Newbud gains while her HP buff also improves damage. Luocha and Gallagher are practical healing alternatives. Remembrance Trailblazer gives an accessible damage multiplier. Evernight and Cyrene strengthen the Remembrance shell and add more HP movement or memosprite support.

A pure shield sustain is the wrong default. Shields may prevent deaths, but they do not restore the HP Castorice repeatedly spends, so the Newbud cycle slows or collapses.

Netherwing Rotation

1. Use Castorice’s Technique when entering an important battle.
2. Skill to drain current HP and build Newbud.
3. Heal after the drain so Contained Dark Tide converts healing into more Newbud.
4. Summon Netherwing at full Newbud.
5. Use enhanced Skill and repeated breath attacks during Lost Netherland.
6. Let Netherwing’s exit heal the team, then rebuild the next summon.

Trace Priority and Materials

Level Memosprite Skill and Talent first, then Ultimate, Talent, and Skill. Basic ATK is last. For ascension, Castorice uses the standard 5-star credit and enemy-drop quantities plus her dedicated boss material; the in-game tracker should be your final checklist. Finish levels and core traces before farming high-quality Poet pieces.

Castorice F2P Build and Account Planning

The most accessible shell is Castorice, Remembrance Trailblazer, Pela, and Lynx or Gallagher. It loses premium Newbud speed but preserves the correct structure: one HP carry, one damage multiplier, one debuffer, and one healer. F2P accounts should prioritize a working healer and good relic main stats before chasing a limited cone.

Is Castorice E1, E2 or S1 Worth It?

E0 is already complete. S1 is the smoothest direct upgrade because it improves HP, DEF Ignore, and action flow. E1 strengthens damage against injured targets, while E2 adds Ardent Will, action advance, and faster Newbud recovery. E2 is powerful but expensive; for most players, E0 plus the right healer produces more account value.
