Acheron remains a powerful Lightning Nihility carry when the team generates debuffs quickly enough to refill Slashed Dream. Her build is straightforward—Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters, Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm, CRIT body, ATK boots, ATK sphere, and ATK rope—but her team is not. At E0, two other Nihility characters usually protect the full value of The Abyss. At E2, she can drop one Nihility slot and use a Harmony support without losing the maximum multiplier.
Acheron does not use normal Energy. She needs nine Slashed Dream points, and each qualifying debuff ability can grant a point while adding Crimson Knot. The result is that a faster debuffer, an enemy-turn debuff, or a sustain that applies a debuff can be more valuable than a generic buffer with a larger tooltip.
| Team | Lineup | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| E0 premium | Fast stacks and heavy amplification | |
| E0 accessible | Acheron | Low-cost debuff shell |
| E2 hypercarry | AcheronJiaoqiu | One Nihility is enough |
| Follow-up debuffs | AcheronMortenax Bladefrequent attackersustain | Turns extra attacks into stacks |
Jiaoqiu is the most reliable classic partner because his debuffs can trigger on enemy actions. Mortenax Blade adds an even denser package of debuffs and amplification. Pela remains a strong accessible DEF-reduction option. Aventurine with a debuffing Light Cone, Gallagher, or another sustain that contributes debuffs can shorten the Ultimate cycle.

| Icon | Trace | Type | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slashed Dream Cries in Red | Basic ATK | Level last | |
| Atop Rainleaf Hangs Oneness | Skill | Generates Slashed Dream and damage | |
| Octobolt Flash | Ultimate | Highest priority burst | |
| Quadrivalent Ascendance | Talent | Links debuffs to Ultimate uptime |
| Slot | Choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Relics | 4-pc Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters | Best with consistent debuffs |
| Planar | Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm | ATK and CRIT with another Nihility |
| Body | CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG | Balance toward 1:2 |
| Feet | ATK% > SPD | Use SPD only for a planned breakpoint |
| Sphere | ATK% > Lightning DMG | Substats and team buffs matter |
| Rope | ATK% | Acheron does not use Energy |
Pioneer Diver is the default because Acheron’s teams naturally maintain multiple debuffs. Izumo supplies ATK and CRIT Rate when another Nihility character is present. ATK sphere usually beats Lightning DMG when external buffs already provide heavy DMG%, but the better substats can decide the final piece.
Use ATK boots for the standard slow carry setup. Use Speed boots only in a deliberate 134+ build or when team action order requires it. With Sparkle or a strong action-advance support, ignore Speed and let the support move Acheron.
| Icon | Light Cone | Use | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Along the Passing Shore | Best overall | CRIT DMG, Ultimate damage, and another debuff | |
| Good Night and Sleep Well | Best 4-star damage | Scales with the debuffs Acheron already wants | |
| Boundless Choreo | CRIT alternative | Best with Slow or DEF reduction |
Trace priority is Ultimate first, then Skill and Talent, with Basic ATK last. The Abyss is the key major trace because it changes team construction and multiplies her damage based on Nihility teammates.
At E0, two additional Nihility characters give The Abyss its maximum 160% original-damage multiplier. Dropping to one Nihility may still be justified when a premium support creates more total team value, but it is not free. E2 reduces the Nihility requirement by one and adds Slashed Dream at the start of Acheron’s turn, making Harmony pairings much cleaner.
E1 adds 18% CRIT Rate against debuffed enemies, so rebuild the relic target instead of wasting CRIT. E2 is the major team-flexibility breakpoint. E6 is powerful but unnecessary for normal account planning.
Finish character level, Light Cone level, and the major traces before chasing a perfect Pioneer set. Then farm Izumo and improve CRIT balance. If your debuffers are underbuilt, spending Trailblaze Power on their Speed, EHR, and trace levels often improves Acheron’s real clear time more than another small CRIT upgrade.
Acheron is best for accounts that already own two capable Nihility partners or plan to invest in them. E0S0 works, but the Light Cone gap is more visible than on many carries. If the account has weak debuff coverage, build the team first. If the team is complete, her signature is a more targeted upgrade; E2 is a larger, more expensive roster-flexibility choice.
Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters with Izumo is the default general build.
Aim for roughly 80–90% in combat after Izumo, E1, and other reliable bonuses.
Yes, but her accessible Light Cones and debuff teammates require more careful tuning.
Usually yes for the maximum The Abyss multiplier, unless a specific support clearly offsets the loss.
It is a strong team-flexibility upgrade, but E0 and a complete debuff core are better value for most accounts.
Acheron rewards team construction more than isolated stats. Keep debuffs arriving every action, avoid CRIT overcap, and choose E0 or E2 team rules before spending resources on premium upgrades.
