NIKKE Interception is much simpler when you stop asking “Which boss is best?” and start with “What drop do I need today?” That might be Custom Modules, one missing gear slot, or a boss your team can farm at a reliable stage. Pick the reward first, then run the same short routine each day.

Start from the missing reward, then choose the boss.
| Reward goal | Boss route | Useful when… | Check before entry |
|---|---|---|---|
| Custom Modules / shards | Kraken | You are rerolling or locking Overload lines | Your core gear is already strong enough to justify modules |
| Head equipment | Ultra | Attackers need a high-impact slot | The team can handle Ultra mechanics consistently |
| Arm equipment | Mirror Container | You need another offensive slot | Element and mechanic requirements fit your roster |
| Torso equipment | Indivilia | Survival or a missing manufacturer piece blocks progress | You are not sacrificing a more urgent offensive slot |
| Leg equipment | Harvester | A complete set or defensive need is waiting on legs | That slot is the biggest gap on your main team |

Mirror Container is one of the selectable Anomaly Interception bosses. See the official boss reveal
A one-time high score does not define a farming route. Note the highest stage you can reach on normal runs without fishing for perfect timing. Compare the reward preview at that stage. If another boss gives a better drop at a stage you can repeat, farm that one until the missing gear changes.
The team reaches roughly the same stage on normal runs without needing perfect manual play.
Push higher only when the next stage improves the drop chance or amount you actually need.
A bad opening does not turn every run into a long reset session or risk a daily entry.

A boss-specific team must handle mechanics as well as damage. See the Mirror Container fight
Interception gives you three daily entries. Leaving a run can consume one, so do not use the exit button as a casual reset. Use the in-battle retry option when it is available, read every confirmation prompt, and check the remaining-entry counter before starting again.

One drop target and one reliable team are enough for a quick daily run.
Pick the missing gear or module first, select the matching boss, and check the reward preview. Load your saved team and use the same opening as usual. If the first run reaches your normal reward stage, spend the remaining entries on that target. Switch only if the team cannot reach the next reward stage or another gear slot has become more urgent.
| Signal | Stay on the current boss | Switch when… |
|---|---|---|
| Missing gear slot | The slot still blocks a main unit | The slot is filled or another gap blocks more teams |
| Module supply | You have gear worth optimizing | Core manufacturer gear is still missing |
| Stage progress | You are close to the next reward stage | Another boss drops gear your roster needs more |
| Team investment | Small upgrades will solve the mechanic | The fight needs an entire roster you do not have |
Do not spam module farming while your main units are still missing core manufacturer gear. Do not force a weakness-element team if it breaks your Burst rotation. One bad run is not a reason to swap bosses, and a bigger damage number means little if the reward stage stays the same. The best target is the one most likely to fill your next useful slot.
Set one gear goal for the week instead of choosing from scratch every day. List the five Nikkes you are actively building and mark their missing manufacturer gear. If several need the same slot, start with that boss. If their basic gear is already covered, save modules for one or two Overload pieces instead of rerolling everything at once.
Review your drops after three or four days instead of changing bosses after every run. One lucky piece may finish the goal early, while a short dry streak does not mean you picked the wrong target. Switch when the slot is filled, another missing piece matters more, or you can reliably earn better rewards from a different boss. This keeps the week focused on one useful upgrade at a time.
| Weekly checkpoint | Record | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Missing slots and repeatable stages | Choose one primary boss and one backup |
| Midweek | Usable drops, boxes, modules, failed mechanics | Make small team changes; keep the goal unless your biggest gear need changed |
| Final day | Which main unit improved | Carry the unfinished goal forward or set the next slot |
The mode provides three daily entries. Check the counter before leaving or restarting a run.
Choose by reward goal: Kraken for modules, or the boss linked to the equipment slot currently blocking your account.
Use it when the resulting team still has a complete Burst cycle, enough survival, and a reliable mechanic answer. A broken team is not fixed by element alone.
Only if you can repeat it and the stage improves the reward outcome. Stable farming is more useful than a one-off peak.
Switch when core manufacturer equipment or a missing slot would improve more units than another module roll.
If you compare NIKKE products, check the receiving account first and buy only for a plan you have already set.
Write down one reward goal, select the matching boss, and measure the stage you can repeat. Use all three entries carefully and change targets only when your most-needed gear changes. That turns Interception into steady gear progress instead of another daily score chase.
