Quick answer

Upgrade Death's Precipice first. Cast it before a Basic Attack so the Life-Death Border can mark enemies and the next attack can hit additional marked targets while restoring Health. Use Path of Passing for terrain access and Movement Speed. Camp recommends Smite, 5 Hunt, 10 Eagle Eye, 10 Calamity, 5 Reaver, and an attack-speed, critical and sustain build.

How Augran's Skills Work

Augran's kit links three systems: Soul Resonance rewards a maintained Basic Attack connection, Death's Precipice prepares a stronger next attack, and Path of Passing or Conductor of Souls can enter Seer State. The order matters more than pressing every skill immediately.

Augran skill icon: Soul Resonance

Soul Resonance

· 3s

Basic Attacks can connect to an enemy's soul, dealing damage continuously unless the enemy breaks free. When the connection ends, it deals a large amount of damage.

Maintain the soul connection only while the pursuit remains safe; Path of Passing can help prevent an easy escape.

Augran skill icon: Path of Passing

Path of Passing

· 12.5s

Carves a path to the afterlife, dealing damage to enemies hit. The path accelerates when it hits walls or the Life-Death Border, then deals extra damage. By traversing on the path, he can ignore terrain and gain Movement Speed. Hitting a wall for the first time generates an afterlife bridge, and he gains Movement Speed when crossing the bridge while enemies nearby are slowed. Using this skill again causes him to enter the Seer State.

Use the route for terrain access, Movement Speed and angle creation, not only for its damage.

Augran skill icon: Death's Precipice

Death's Precipice

· 10s

Deals damage and inflicts slow on enemies to the front, then generates a Life-Death Border which damages, slows, and marks enemies who touch it. His next Basic Attack attacks up to 3 additional marked targets, dealing extra damage and recovering his Health.

Cast this before the next Basic Attack so marked enemies trigger additional hits and Health recovery.

Augran skill icon: Conductor of Souls

Conductor of Souls

· 40s

Descends from the sky, damaging and knocking back nearby enemies. Hitting an enemy hero will recover his Health and summon their spirit counterpart to assist him. Enters the Seer State after, in which his Basic Attacks will kill targets with low Health instantly.

Commit the long cooldown when its knockback, hero-hit recovery and Seer State can change the fight.

Best Augran Combo Order

These practical sequences follow Camp's official skill descriptions without adding unverified damage values or execution thresholds.

Reliable mark combo

Death's Precipice → Basic Attack → maintain Soul Resonance. The skill creates marks and the next attack converts them into extra targets and recovery.

Terrain approach combo

Path of Passing toward terrain → cross the path or bridge → Death's Precipice → Basic Attack. Use mobility first so the mark is placed from a useful angle.

Seer-State commitment

Death's Precipice → Basic Attack → Conductor of Souls → continue Basic Attacks in Seer State. Use the ultimate when its disruption and recovery justify the 40-second cooldown.

Camp lists 12 entries in order. They include components, completed upgrades, a jungle-item upgrade and a late defensive transition; they are not 12 simultaneous final items.

How to Read the 12 Steps

Relentless Blade, Lightfoot Shoes, Twinblades of Destruction, Bloodsoul and Meteor are purchase-path entries. Later rows complete or build beyond them. Sage's Sanctuary appears after six other completed item names, so it is a late transition or replacement rather than a seventh inventory slot. Camp does not specify the exact sale order, so this guide does not invent one.

What the Build Is Trying to Achieve

  1. Establish jungle damage and movement early.
  2. Use Attack Speed and Critical Rate for sustained Basic Attacks.
  3. Complete the offensive jungle upgrade with Rapacious Bite.
  4. Add lifesteal and Health through Doomsday.
  5. Use Pure Sky for defense and temporary damage reduction.
  6. Treat Sage's Sanctuary as a late defensive transition.

Augran Arcana and Smite

Camp uses a mixed 30-piece page and labels these as Level 1 values. The table preserves those exact counts instead of substituting another Arcana level.

Augran Smite summoner skill icon: Smite

Smite

30s Cooldown: Deals true damage to a nearby monster or minion and stuns them for 1s.

Smite has a 30-second cooldown. Camp says it deals true damage to a nearby monster or minion and stuns that target for one second. It is also required for the recommended jungle equipment.

How the Build Supports Augran's Kit

  • Attack Speed supports Basic Attacks, marked follow-ups and Soul Resonance.
  • Critical Rate and critical damage appear across Calamity, Shadow Ripper and Eternity Blade.
  • Movement Speed helps Augran keep the passive connection from breaking.
  • Lifesteal combines with recovery from Death's Precipice and the ultimate.
  • Boots of Resistance, Pure Sky and Sage's Sanctuary add commitment safety.
  • Cooldown Reduction helps recover movement, mark and control tools.

Common Augran Mistakes

  • Basic Attacking before Death's Precipice creates the marks.
  • Using Path of Passing only for damage and ignoring terrain access.
  • Chasing after the Soul Resonance connection has become unsafe.
  • Spending Conductor of Souls without an enemy hero when recovery matters.
  • Reading the 12 build rows as 12 final items.
  • Taking the Camp jungle route without Smite.

Augran Build FAQ

What role and lane does Augran play?

Camp classifies Augran as a Fighter and recommends him for Jungling.

Which skill should be upgraded first?

Death's Precipice. Its mark prepares the next Basic Attack to hit additional targets and restore Health.

What is the simplest combo?

Use Death's Precipice, follow with a Basic Attack, then maintain Soul Resonance while the connection is safe.

How does Augran enter Seer State?

Recast Path of Passing or use Conductor of Souls. In Seer State, Basic Attacks execute sufficiently low-Health targets.

Which Arcana does Camp recommend?

5 Hunt, 10 Eagle Eye, 10 Calamity and 5 Reaver in this capture.

Why does the build show 12 items?

It is an ordered route containing components, upgrades and a late defensive transition, not a 12-slot build.

Final Takeaway

Augran's build follows the order of his kit: create a route, mark enemies, consume the marks with a Basic Attack, and maintain pressure while Movement Speed and defensive layers keep the connection alive. Upgrade Death's Precipice first and preserve the full 12-step route without presenting every row as simultaneous final equipment.
