King vs. King is a competition-focused season built around two new Evolutions, fixed-scenario puzzles, rotating win conditions, Crown Tokens, and a new deck-building assistant.

Quick answer: Test Evolved Giant first if your Giant support cards are already leveled. Treat Evolved Mirror as the higher-complexity option: it copies the last card played in its Evolution form only when that Evolution exists. Use the Daily Puzzle practice run to observe timing, then earn Crown Tokens through King of Cards before spending in the Royal Market.

What is new in King vs. King?

Two Evolutions

Giant creates a growing Rage trail after taking enough damage. Mirror copies the previous card evolved and one level higher when an Evolution exists.

Daily Puzzles

Solve repeatable scenarios with one to four premade cards. Enemy cards, placement, and timing remain fixed.

King of Cards

Rotating boosted win conditions let players test different ways to reach towers while earning Crown Tokens.

Deck Wizard

The new assistant builds from scratch or around favorites, including unused Collection cards in Duel Decks.

How to use Evolved Giant

Evolved Giant still targets buildings. After taking enough damage, he becomes enraged and leaves Rage areas behind him; each attack makes the area larger. His real value is therefore keeping the push alive long enough for ranged or splash support to travel through the trail.

Keep support close enough to benefit from the Rage trail, but not so close that one spell removes the whole push.
  • Build behind surviving defenders when possible.
  • Preserve support units instead of investing everything into Giant alone.
  • Check whether your surrounding cards are leveled before committing Wild Shards.

How Evolved Mirror works

Evolved Mirror copies the last card you played in its Evolution form and adds one level. You do not need to own that Evolution or place the copied card in an Evolution Slot. If the copied card has no Evolution, Mirror behaves like its normal version.

Plan the card immediately before Mirror; a cycle card or spell can accidentally replace the intended target.
Common mistake: Copying an expensive card twice can leave no Elixir for defense. Practice both the sequence and the exit plan before investing resources.

Daily Puzzle strategy

  1. Use the practice attempt to watch every enemy spawn.
  2. Assign each card one job: pull, remove, delay, or protect.
  3. Change only one placement or timing after a failed attempt.
  4. Remember that each of your cards can be played only once.

King of Cards and Royal Market priorities

Weeks rotate through win conditions ranging from Hog Rider and Mortar to Balloon, Royal Giant, Golem, Miner, Graveyard, and X-Bow. Giant and Mirror remain boosted across the season. Crown Tokens earned from events can be spent in the Royal Market, where premium items unlock after 3,000 Tokens have been spent.

Which Evolution should you prioritize?

Choose Giant first

You already play Giant pushes, your support cards are usable, and you want a direct win-condition upgrade.

Choose Mirror first

You understand many Evolutions, manage Elixir carefully, and can control the exact card sequence before Mirror.

FAQ

Can Evolved Mirror copy an Evolution I do not own?

Yes, provided that Evolution exists in the game.

What happens if the copied card has no Evolution?

It is copied normally at one level higher.

Are Daily Puzzles a reward event?

The official description frames them as skill challenges based on solving each scenario in as few attempts as possible.

Why can I not see Deck Wizard?

It is being rolled out as a test, so access may arrive later.
