Deadly Assault Guide | Zenless Zone Zero (Jun 13–27) – Buffs, Bosses, Lineups, Rewards

Deadly Assault is a high-difficulty challenge mode in Zenless Zone Zero. The latest event is now open. It will be held from June 13 to June 27, and will be refreshed every two weeks. Each refresh includes three BOSS challenges. Players need to use three different lineups (Agent and Bangboo cannot be repeated) and strive for a total of nine stars in three stages. At least six stars can get all Polychrome rewards. It is very suitable for advanced players to practice and obtain resources.

In-depth analysis of three buffs

Raging Storm

Special attack, EX and ultimate damage +30%; after triggering EX/Aftershock, the team's critical damage +30%, enemy defense -15%, lasting 20s, preferred for frequent ultimates

Graceful Mastery

Abnormal growth rate +25%, abnormal proficiency +40; when abnormality is triggered, 500 Decibels are returned, the team's attack +30% lasts for 15s, suitable for high abnormal teams

Worn Out

Stun damage increased by +10%, combo damage +50%; after Chain hits, the enemy's stun resistance decreases by +25%, the team's attack +20% lasts for 15s, the first choice for stun lineups

Three major stage boss strategy and lineup suggestions

Stage 1: Miasma Priest

Weakness: Ether, Resistance: Ice

Mechanism: Abnormal resistance +10%, Critical damage tolerance +30% when switching stages, up to two layers, can be cleared by breaking the shield

Buff: Graceful Mastery brings Ether damage + abnormal effect enhancement.

Recommended lineup:

Ether core such as Yixuan or Zhu Yuan with Pan Yinhu / Astra Yao, Bangboo chooses Belion or Robin

Stage 2: Notorious Marionette

Weakness: Ice + Ether, no resistance

Mechanism: BOSS damage increased by 25%; breaking the clone reduces the BOSS attack and increases the corresponding damage. Breaking the clone can get 200~5000 Performance Points

Buff: Graceful Mastery or Raging Storm, increase Ice/Ether points.

Recommended lineup:

Dual DPS, such as Miyabi+Yanagi or Zhu Yuan+Nicole Demara, plus Astra Yao/Snap support/Bangboo

Stage 3: Notorious Pompey

Weakness: Fire, Resistance: Electric

Mechanism: Using Defensive Assist/Chain can make the target gain Weakening stacks, each layer of critical damage +10%, stacking 4 layers triggers the stun window, and cooperate with Perfect Assist to improve the score

Buff: Raging Storm with combo output, or Worn Out to strengthen the combo.

Recommended lineup:

With Evelyn, Burnice, Soldier11 and other Fire DPS as the core, with Lighter, Lucy and Red Moccus or Jane, Bangboo chooses Snap

Initial Top-up Reminder

Currently (mid-June), the official event resets the initial top-up rewards. When you top up Monochrome or All-In-One Set, you can get double the first top-up, and a rich resource package is included. It is recommended to take advantage of the current event to prioritize top-up to improve resource utilization.

Principles for assigning support roles

Using "universal support" characters such as Astra and Miyabi on the weakest team can improve the overall star number faster

Challenge order strategy

It is recommended to rush the weakest level first, put in the strongest lineup, and then attack the strong level after gradually completing it.

Combo, Perfect/Dodge series scoring points

It is strongly recommended to master Perfect Assist/Dodge Timing, especially in the third level where the chance of stun is the highest; in the second level, try to reduce the clones to quickly obtain chain damage bonus.

Equipment and resource requirements

All characters need Inter-Knot Lv.40+, equipped with full-level Drive disk and W-Engine to ensure damage/stability
