Assassin Class
The Assassin is the newest base class joining Crystal of Atlan. Players will meet Nino, a character who escaped a secret underground organization and lost much of his memory. Dual blades, high mobility, fast damage—this class is made for players who like fluid, aggressive play.
Assassin has two specialization branches:
Specter — pure Physical Damage, focusing on stealth and shadow summons for burst and unpredictability.
Mirage — uses the unique weapon Haladie, capable of switching between Electro and Umbro damage, letting players adapt damage types depending on enemies or builds.
“Lost Ruins” Co-op Dungeon
There’s also a new 8-player co-op dungeon called Lost Ruins. It’s divided into chapters; Temple of Fate launches in September. Players will explore ancient mechanical ruins, uncover secrets behind the disappearance of President Rezzo, and face powerful enemies.
It’s expected to be challenging, so it’s likely to reward high gear, good coordination, and probably some exclusive loot.
In October, the game adds a Homestead System where players receive their own “private island” named Coconut Spring Isle. It’s a place to build, decorate, and personalize.
Homes can be decorated with furniture, buildings, vegetation, and other aesthetic elements. Moreover, the player’s pets can assist in construction—each pet having talents that affect efficiency.
Puppeteer gets a new specialization branch called Glaciette in November.
The lore: after striking a contract with the mysterious marionette Mephisto, the Puppeteer becomes Glaciette, blending artistry and destruction. Combat leans Cryo (ice/fluid / freezing) damage; she fights at mid-range, wielding a chain weapon and performing marionette-assisted combat / combos and area control.
The game will officially launch on Steam on October 30, 2025. There’s a free demo during Steam Next Fest starting October 13.
New servers are being opened to help with progression and to host events around the new Assassin class leading up to the Steam launch.

Fresh class options: Assassin gives players a faster, more mobile DPS style, and its dual-branches (Specter / Mirage) allow for build diversity and countering different enemies.
Co-op content brewing community challenges: Lost Ruins will be one of the first big co-op dungeons, likely driving group play, guild coordination, and competitive times / loot.
Personalization / retention content: The Homestead System isn’t just cosmetic; it appeals to players who want a “home base,” identity, décor—elements that increase attachment to the game and encourage long-term play.
Specialization balance & depth: Glaciette’s addition for Puppeteer adds balance shifts; Cryo + chain weapon with mid-range mechanics will likely require new gear, strategies.
Cross-platform exposure: The Steam launch broadens audience reach, likely increasing the player base, PvP / co-op scalability, and visibility.
If you play now, start saving resources for the Assassin class: gear, materials, maybe any pre-registration bonuses.
Gear up for Lost Ruins by increasing your current dungeon / trial clear capabilities; co-op tends to demand coordination and high DPS / survivability.
If you like decorating / social features, prepare for Coconut Spring Isle: gather resources, plan what kind of style you want.
Experiment with Puppeteer builds now, so when Glaciette specialization arrives, you can adapt quickly.
Crystal of Atlan’s 2025 roadmap is ambitious and well-rounded. It doesn’t just add raw new damage dealers or dungeons—it brings divergence (Assassin vs existing classes), sandbox / social features (homestead), and specialization depth (Glaciette). Plus, the Steam release could drive major growth in player base and cross-platform interaction.
If any part stands out for you—be it designing your homestead, mastering the stealthy Assassin, or dominating co-op Lost Ruins—it’s a good time to get ready. Expect that content over September-November to shift the meta, the best builds, and who stands out in Crystal of Atlan.
