The Glacio Gauntlet powerhouse, Aemeath, has arrived in Wuthering Waves Version 3.1. As discussed in our Aemeath Team Build Guide, she is a hypercarry who demands high investment to reach her full potential. A Level 70 Aemeath simply won't cut it in the Hazard Zone; you need her at Level 90 with maxed Forte skills to see those massive damage numbers.

However, maxing out a character in Wuthering Waves is a resource-intensive process involving millions of Shell Credits, hundreds of forged materials, and specialized boss drops. If you wait until you pull her to start farming, you will be stuck with a weak character for weeks.
To help you prepare, we have compiled the ultimate material checklist for Aemeath. This guide covers everything from her Ascension requirements (Level 1-90) to her Forte priority and Signature Weapon costs. We also provide efficiency tips on where to farm and how to manage your Waveplates.

If you want to "Max" Aemeath (Level 90, 10/10/10/10/10 Skills) on Day 1, here is exactly what you need to hoard.

Ascension increases Aemeath's base stats (ATK, HP, DEF) and her Critical Damage growth. Prioritize this over Skills initially.

Aemeath is a "Skill Spammer." As detailed in our Aemeath Weapon Guide, her damage distribution is heavily skewed towards her Resonance Skill.
Upgrade Priority:
Resonance Skill > Forte Circuit > Resonance Liberation > Basic Attack > Intro Skill
Do not waste resources leveling her Intro Skill past Level 6 unless you are a completionist. The damage gain is negligible compared to her Skill.
Cadence Materials: Farmed in the "Forgery Challenge: Moonlit Groves" (or the new 3.1 equivalent domain). This consumes 40 Waveplates per run.
Strategy: Use "Synthesize" to convert lower-tier mats into Gold ones. The drop rate for Gold mats is low, so expect to craft most of them.
Weekly Boss (Monument Bell): Drops from the Bell-Borne Geochelone (Turtle). Since this is an existing boss, you can pre-farm these now! You can claim rewards from the same boss 3 times a week if necessary.

If you are pulling for her weapon (which offers a massive Crit Rate boost), you need a separate set of materials. Weapons consume a LOT of weapon XP (Energy Cores).
To reach Level 90:
This new local specialty grows in the "Thawborn" region.
Location: Look for them near the frozen lakes and under the giant ice structures. They respawn every 48 hours.
Tip: Use the interactive map or mark them in-game. If you are short, join a friend's world (Co-op) and ask to farm theirs.
These drop from "Tacet Discords" (the standard glitched monsters).
Best Spot: The "Norfall Barrens" usually has high density. Simply doing your daily commissions and echoes usually provides enough of these.
You get 240 Waveplates per day.
Pre-3.1 Strategy:
- Spend all plates on Shell Credits and Weapon XP simulation training. These are universal.
- Farm the Weekly Boss (Turtle) every Monday.
- Save your "Crystal Solvents" (Fragile Resin equivalent) for the update launch to farm the new Boss Drop.
Running out of Waveplates is the biggest bottleneck in Wuthering Waves. You can refresh Waveplates using Astrites, but that gets expensive quickly.
The "Efficient Grinder" Pack:
1. Lunite Subscription: Gives daily Astrites. Save these for 1-2 stamina refreshes per day during the first week of Aemeath's release.
2. Insider Channel (Battle Pass): The premium tier gives a massive amount of "Forte Materials" and "Shell Credits." Buying this saves you roughly 2 weeks of farming.
The "ManaBuy Advantage":
Don't pay full price for the Battle Pass or Lunites. Visit ManaBuy's Wuthering Waves Top-Up to get discounted currency bundles. Using ManaBuy can effectively give you "free" stamina refreshes compared to standard store pricing, allowing you to hit Level 90 Aemeath days before your friends.
This strategy also applies if you are building her best support. Check out our Luuk Herssen Guide to see what materials he needs (hint: it's mostly Glacio-related too!).
Q: Should I level Aemeath to 90 immediately?
A: Yes. Unlike supports who can stop at Level 70/80, main DPS characters gain significant base stats from the final ascension. The level gap between you and Level 90/100 enemies also affects damage calculations (Level Suppression).
Q: I ran out of Shell Credits. What do I do?
A: Stop farming mats and spend 2 days purely on the "Simulation Training: Shell Credits" dungeon. It feels like a waste, but you literally cannot upgrade without money. Alternatively, buy the Battle Pass.
Q: Can I use "Dreamless" drops for Aemeath?
A: No. Aemeath requires the Bell-Borne Geochelone drops. If you have extra Dreamless mats, you can use the "Dream Solvent" (if available in future updates) to convert them, but currently, you must farm the specific boss.
Q: How many Solvents should I save?
A: Try to save at least 20 Crystal Solvents for the 3.1 update. This will allow you to rush the new Boss Drops (46 required) in one or two days.
Q: Is the 3-star weapon viable if I can't afford upgrades?
A: No. 3-star weapons have too low base attack for a Level 90 character. Craft the 4-star "Hollow Mire" gauntlets at minimum. It is cheaper to upgrade and performs much better.
Preparing for Aemeath is a marathon, not a sprint. By following this checklist and pre-farming the available materials (Weekly Boss drops, Shell Credits, XP), you can significantly reduce the grind when Version 3.1 launches.
Remember, a maxed-out Aemeath is an investment that will carry your account through the hardest content in the game. Plan your Waveplates, utilize ManaBuy for smart spending, and get ready to shatter the ice.
